Split is the second largest city in Croatia and is located on a peninsula in the Dalmatia region. The most famous attraction is the Diocletian's Palace, one of the best preserved Roman buildings in the world. As part of today's old town, it houses many other cultural monuments, e.g. The Cathedral of Saint Domnius.

A stroll along the promenade Riva provides scattering after sightseeing. Plenty of cafés and restaurants are located at Riva.
