Bus to Berlin

The capital of the Federal Republic of Germany is a city of about 3.5 million people, which makes it the largest city in the country. Visitors from close and far are fascinated with its turbulent history and pulsating street life. The Brandenburg Gate, which is probably the city's most famous landmark, is adjacent to the government district where the Reichstag and Federal Chancellor's Office are located. Alexanderplatz, a 368-meter-high television tower, is also a remarkable building, providing visitors, who are not afraid of heights, with a breathtaking view of Berlin.

The history of the Berlin Wall, which symbolically represents the former division of Germany into East and West, can be learnt best in a thematic guided tour: during a visit to the East Side Gallery, the longest remaining stretch of the Berlin Wall, which at present is an open-air gallery, as well as to the former checkpoint Charlie. There are plenty of opportunities for entertainment, such as charming restaurants and cafes, shops of famous fashion brands, or galleries and small shops of the famous Hackesche Höfe. Night-owls also come in Berlin on their own responsibility, where they will find it difficult to choose between themed bars, old pubs and a diversity of night clubs.
